I showed up for knee surgery today. I was asked to sign a form asking if I had completed Advanced Directive for my Health Care. I have. They went on to say that they would IGNORE my wishes as the patient and take all extraordinary measures including CPR and a trip to the hospital rather than abide by my DNR. I'm getting electrodes and needle stuck in me - and they are telling me their CEO and Medical Director (and lawyer, I'm sure) said they would not do surgery if I insist they honor my Advanced Directives. Took my son for the first time for a consultation. Dr. Berkowitz was amazing! Took the time to answer all of our questions. Very knowledgeable and approachable. Highly recommend this place.
I had only one session with a physiotherapist called PATRICK, I did only one session and I got charged more than 900 DOLLARS to my insurance. I called and complained to billing department and they said I was billed for 6 codes….. that means that every time PATRICK asked me to do and exercise with repetitions or put heat on me they charged 150 dollars. I was there no more than 45 min. This is pure and absolute ABUSE to the patient. Please DONT USE THIS PLACE FOR PHYSIOTHERAPY unless you want a 900 + bill on your insurance for... read more
