Need easy stuff fixed? He's great.. Keep it simple and quick. If you're complicated, stay away. 15 rounds of antibiotics in 12 months for chronic ear infections that swelled my face. That year was burning, stabbing , (triggered occipital nerve pain) unending pain which resulted in chronic thrush for two years. When I said I couldn't live like this, he left. Not sure what I'd have done if his secretary hadn't stopped me from leaving. Meanwhile, all I needed was an ear tube. I hate him now
Our family has been with dr O’connell since he came to congress park. He is a very caring and kind man. If you need a specialist he is always prepared to help you.
My entire family sees Dr. O'Connell. He's fantastic, caring, empathetic, and most of all very conscientious in making sure issues and conditions get treated properly. Highly recommend!
I was a patient of Dr O'Connell for 11 years. He is ok as a general practitioner if you are just seeing him for an upper respiratory or urinary tract infection. But if you are like me and have complicated health issues, forget it. He has no interest in delving into serious and/or complicated health issues. I think he's a nice doctor, but he just doesn't have any desire to educate himself on current health problems or learn anything new.
