Ocilla has always been a friendly, progressive small town. I have had good friends there and have visited there often I love to recall the many years I conducted Joan's School of Baton there and met and loved many Ocilla students and parents. And the Sweet Potato Parade !!! What a festive occasion with fun for all ages. The pageant was a highlight for me . I loved watching for many years, was a judge one year, and my daughter was a contestant once. Many great memories of Ocilla!
They are an active chamber with our little town's best in mind. Cannot wait to join sometime soon.
