Came here fasting to wait for the laboratory and it took them 25 minutes to call me back. Couldn't wait to get to the cafeteria to eat. Got there at 9:35. They're closed!! I would like to know who's ridiculous idea. It was to have the hospital cafeteria clothes for breakfast at 9:30 a.m.. that's ludicrous. Very unwelcoming for your patients
A week ago I was vomiting violently at 2am and decided to go to the hospital, after test and X-ray they said I needed IMMEDIATE surgery not believing them I got up to leave security guard Joe Bourgeois who at the time I considered a lifelong friend talk me into trusting the doctor so had an ambulance take me to Slidell memorial for the surgery, they did their own exams and said that I didn't need surgery, how could they have been so wrong? Very well run efficient and friendly staff greet you at the door check you in and explain in simple terms what will happen and what to expect, no fuss and no confusion. Went there for a simple routine test my Dr. told me expect an hour, I was out of there in 35 minutes and had the results posted to my chart app in less than an hour. Great job Ochsner your doing it right the 1st time every time
