This is not a walk-in clinic. My mother injured her back and was told she could just come in. We arrived and she was turned away because there were no available appointments and it was not in fact a walk in clinic. The front desk agent chuckled when I asked why it was called a walk in clinic when in fact they only take appointments. Just another disappointment to the ever growing problem of the Ochsner Health system. I had to put one star to leave this review but I would give a negative rating if possible.
Ochsner Ortho Walk-In Clinic: This rating is due to the fact that after searching online, and CALLING them before coming, both indicated that the were open until 8:00 pm on Saturdays. However, when I arrived (and finally got to the receptionist desk, I was told that they “JUST CLOSED” and I could not be seen!. I looked at my Apple Watch and it was 3:00. But the thing that really frustrates me is that the receptionist area was dark when I arrived, (which is an indication that they are closed) so I started reading the Al signs... read more
Awesome professional service with a reasonable wait time.
The team here has been incredibly kind and supportive. They made a difficult injury period much easier, and I’m deeply grateful for their care. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking knowledgeable and compassionate doctors, nurses, and staff. Thank youu!!
