Kinda ridiculous you advertise being open on your website. Only for me to drive over an hour with an injury to be rudely turned away by the front desk staff. Not even an ounce of remorse. It’s just sad. Based on that initial impression I am going to receive care somewhere else.
This is not a walk-in clinic. My mother injured her back and was told she could just come in. We arrived and she was turned away because there were no available appointments and it was not in fact a walk in clinic. The front desk agent chuckled when I asked why it was called a walk in clinic when in fact they only take appointments. Just another disappointment to the ever growing problem of the Ochsner Health system. I had to put one star to leave this review but I would give a negative rating if possible.
Ochsner Ortho Walk-In Clinic: This rating is due to the fact that after searching online, and CALLING them before coming, both indicated that the were open until 8:00 pm on Saturdays. However, when I arrived (and finally got to the receptionist desk, I was told that they “JUST CLOSED” and I could not be seen!. I looked at my Apple Watch and it was 3:00.
