I have enjoyed Ochsner 65+ so much since they opened. The doctors and nurses are very personable and caring. I enjoy all of the seminars and classes. It really helps to meet with others my age and we support each other.
I would like to highly recommend Ochsner and especially their representative, Jessica Ayers. Jessica is extremely knowledgeable in the needs of elder care both physically and mentally. I directed a non-profit for many years and Jessica worked for me througout her college years. She later obtained her masters in social work and was Director of the Adult Day Care Center for the Council on Aging prior to taking the position at Oschner. I give it a four star only because the doctor that I picked which you don’t know them they just make you pick a picture. I picked him because I thought OK he’s older. He’s gotta be a good doctor and know what he’s doing. It was not a good visit he didn’t give me any eye contact. He did 90% of checking me was just on the computer asking questions. Then he checked my breathing and my heartbeat and that was it and then he would cut me off when I talked sarcastic when I tried to express something .He also started walking around ... read more
