if you are a special needs person your life may be put in jeopardy if you are taken there by ambulance and later released. this happened June 13, 2020 when they released my daughter who had no money on her, no cell phone, she is hard of hearing, has trouble walking, and she had no idea where home was from there. scared, alone, at night in the dark walking down a road with no sidewalks towards the signal lights in the distance was terrifying for her. for hours she wandered alone not even sure about the direction she was going... read more

RecommendedFrom reception to evaluation, the team was friendly and professional, in spite of having to work through a tropical storm. Furthermore, I was in and out much faster than I thought I would be.

If there's a way to give the hospital negative stars I would. The doctors at Ochsner does not care about the patients or their family. I have had multiple experiences with this hospital not only in the coronavirus pandemic. The staff is very heartless. I would send a dying pet to treated by this organization. They are not progressive with it comes to healthcare. I would never ever recommend anyone to be treated at Ochsner. They need to re-evaluate themselves. They do not care about the community.
