So very disappointed. Mother in law has been in the hospital for 10 days. We know she will be headed to rehab but nothing has been discussed as far as the timing of this move. Today, we received a call from the Nursing/Rehab facility to sign papers for her. Nothing was communicated to us from our care staff at Main campus about her move. Last info we got was a call from her hospitalist and gastro consult doctor last night and this morning, nothing about a discharge, they were still treating issues that she had. RecommendedThe people in the ICU was really nice and didnt have any problems with the staff. They treated me nice. If anything ever happens to me again I want to go back to ochsner medical center on Jefferson again. Also the staff on the 9th floor was nice
Very nice hospital very nice people everyone we met was super helpful and nice and the size of the hospital was unbelievable. 5 Stars all the way
My brother had a massive stroke and has been in this hospital for a month. I have spent the majority of my time with him around the clock. There seems to be a culture of laziness here for techs, nurses and charge nurses. The icu charge nurses were very helpful and understanding the two times I complained on a nurse. I limited my complaints after the first two times as I would have had to complain on at least 50% of the nurses in Neuro ICU and closer to 90% of the nurses in the step down unit.
