When a loved one has brain surgery, daughters want to be with their mothers just as much as fathers. You can be decent enough to let people be with their mother. 🤬🤬 I pray you’re not kept from your mother like I have, monsters. 😭😭

The best care, treatment and customer service experience I’ve had had been with Ochsner providers. I always feel valued as a consumer and as a valued member of my treatment team. It’s reassuring to know that one centralized record ensures each of my providers have the most current information available to avoid repeating tests & maximize both efficiency and healthcare costs.

Too long a story to tell. But it’s awful, particularly for kidney patients.

Business response:

Hi, thank you for telling us about your experience. We are very sorry to hear about your recent encounter with our team. Could you please send us an email at feedback@ochsner.org, including your full name and contact information so we can further investigate this matter?

This place is a horrible place to work. While they make it seem as though they provide decent care, just know that behind the scenes it is unsafe and behind the times in precautions. Your likelihood of going home with an infection or an instrument left in you after surgery is much higher than you may think or like. They only care about how they look in the public eye with not much actual innovation or care going on behind the scenes. Consider other facilities for your care and the care of your loved ones.

Business response:

Hello, we’re very concerned to hear about this encounter and truly apologize for your recent experience with us. Can you please email us at feedback@ochsner.org with your full name, phone number and the location where you were seen so we can have a patient relations liaison reach out to you personally? If your need is urgent, please contact our Patient Relations office directly at 844-959-4327.

In my opinion they have some of the Best doctors on staff. I was found to have cancer 5 years ago. I feel that I received the best care possible. From my surgery to remove the cancer to treatments with chemo and recovery till now and ongoing. I would definitely recommend this hospital and their staff to anyone needing a good doctor for cancer or any other issue you may be having.

Business response:

We're happy to know that we were able to get you closer to a full recovery. Best wishes!

Ochsner is one of the worst hospitals. They feel it is appropriate to let patients suffer unimaginable pain. If you need a surgery or any other treatment do not go here. After having my 2nd surgery to remove more of my intestine. I was wheeled to my room screaming in pain an screamed for hours until someone gave me the appropriate medication. I have been suffering severe pain an other symptoms from crohn's disease. I have received no help with my symptoms or to manage my pain. if you want to suffer go to this hospital.

They have a racist admin in their employ, who is spouting out crap like this all over Facebook. Racism in the healthcare field literally kills! This is unacceptable in every way. She should be fired immediately and I’m horrified that she hasn’t been.
