day 1 MHG in gulfport Mississippi gave my son & us no hope of living. 12hr later he was at Ochsners. day 13 was the first heart surgery, 2nd 5mon old,3rd 6yr old. he is 10yr old now goes to Ochsners 3 times a week. He has 17 doctors & wow it is great to have had God leading the team of doctors he has at Ochsners thank you Jesus & thank you Ochsner
Dr. Derek Vonderhaar is absolutely the best. I completely trust him with my husband's sarcoidosis!!!

3 separate times the lab has “misplaced” my grandmothers sample. Completely unacceptable. Can’t even get a call back from the ordering physician nor does she seem to care. All 3 instances have been documented as “sample never received.” We have physically brought it to the lab each time.

We have always received good service here. But. last time we went we accidentally went to the employee entrance. Employees weren't even being checked for fever. Just walking right by. Second. I was told my mask wasn't tight enough around my nose. Then I see half a dozen employees with their masks below their chins. And 2 walking down the hall with them in their hands. If you are going to call out a patient for theirs not being tight enough. You should enforce the rules with employees

The care I received was excellent, 24/7! Awesome staff all the way around. Would recommend any day to the ones I love most! Great clinic and hospital!
I recommend the medical staff, specifically Dr. Gene Parrino, his team and the anesthetist team that performed my husband’s 7 hour open heart surgery. However, the hospital management and maintenance is horrible. My husband was transferred from a 2 day stay in ICU to a room without air conditioning. He has been in this room trying to recover for 2 days without air conditioning. The amazing medical staff brought in the only fan available, a small battery operated fan. The doctors and nurses did a fabulous job taking care of my mom .. The only problem was my mom doesn’t have insurance and the case management team needs more training they tried to kick her out straight from ICU .. Even making the comment that the hospital can’t keep absorbing the cost !! We held or ground and made them give her the room and PT she needed after as they requested it !! Again , doctors and nurses was great 👍
