I have Parkinson’s. Was referred to neurology clinic. About 1 1/2 yrs ago. Not sure of date due to memory loss. But, every time it got close to my appointment I would get a call or letter saying it had been changed. Also, if you try to call them. You either get no answer and if you leave a message you do not get called back. Not very effective
I stayed at the neurology clinic for 2 days for an EMU recently. This is a shoutout to every single nurse, resident, the neurologist on call, the neurologist and nurses assigned to my case in the clinic downstairs, the techs, dietitians, etc. Everyone was very attentive, very compassionate, very personable and overall made my stay pleasurable. My Doctor made me a appointment there and it’s been three years have not heard anything from them at all quess I don’t matter as a patient to them I don’t recommend them to anybody staff and Doctors are very uncaring and not dedicated at all
My brother was referred to neurology and had to wait 6 months for an appointment. He is having memory and speech problems. He was referred in May 2024 and his appointment was 1/15/25. He saw the doctor and they ordered an EEG, MRI, and lab work. We had to call several times to finally get the EEG and MRI scheduled. The test were completed the second week of March.
