RecommendedI just want to say THANK YOU! I spent 5 days in the hospital last week and I received excellent care! The nurses were so sweet and helped me out so much. Ashley, Mo and Julie (etc. just can’t remember all the names) were great nurses and Dr Trahan was amazing. I know I will always choose this hospital over our only other alternative local hospital! Thanks again!!!
Weekend staff is not helpful
I recently visited the ER for chest pains, the staff were professional and very efficient. They ran test, did everything possible to figure out my situation. Once I was diagnosed I was admitted and moved to a room. The staff there were just as professional and very welcoming. I’ve been here for 4 days, I haven’t met an employee that wasn’t smiling and greeting me in some way. Although the hospital is small in comparrison to the "city" hospitals, the care is A+. The staff has always treats you like family (and probably knows some of your family). I have had several encounters with this hospital for myself, family and friends and I have to say we have all been treated with kindness and respect.
We arrived at the ER with my son, who was bleeding from a serious nose injury. We were seen within minutes. Nurse Jacob (along with another very helpful nurse whose name I can’t remember) got to work right away, cleaning him up and calming him down. The X-ray tech was so kind to him and made him feel like a big boy. The doctor was professional and had a wonderful bedside manner. He was treated quickly, kindly, and professionally. We are so grateful to have a hospital here in Kaplan with such a great ER department!
I went there last month for my ear bleeding. Dr told me it was a pimple on my ear drum. My nails scratched it. Sent me home telling me if I need to take my ear drops then I could. Seen my ear drum bleeding. Come to find out I have a hole above my tube where skin balled up and kept bleeding. Easily noticed!! Which I learned if he'd have treated it appropriately I wouldn't be possibly going to have another surgery and take all these meds to keep my hearing. Y'all lucky my lawyer isn't involved. (P.S. Went in today to er head killing me from infected tooth ,they saw me right away and took care of my problem thanks so much to the staff and Dr Mathews
