I've been coming here for several years now and every time I make an appointment it is always a pleasure. The staff are super friendly, the work being done is effective and efficient, and it is never a dull moment when you are in the building. Each visit I feel just that bit stronger and feel like I am a functioning human again. Everyone in the building are experts at the craft, and help out in just the right ways. I initially went to see Dr. Katia for ball of foot pain. I was prescribed new orthodics to replace old ones, which actually caused pain on my other foot. I had to go to the office eight times for fittings and eventually gave up. While the staff and Dr. Katia were professional and attempted to help the situation the orthodics just never worked on my feet . Given that there is no refund on orthodics, it was a waste of time and money for everyone. I might have been a one off situation but nevertheless a very frustrating experie... read more
I visited in early March and had a horrible experience. I was there to ask about skin issues on my feet and a right ankle sprain. I feel that my questions werent answered, when I asked follow up questions I felt I was met with hostility, and much of her attention was on a tiny bunion on my left foot which has never caused me issues. Dr. Langton and her staff are wonderful, knowledgeable and courteous. I really appreciate the care I get from them. When I started seeing Dr. Langton I was using a cane to get around, the pain in my legs and feet kept me from enjoying life. Now I'm moving with much more freedom and less pain Highly recommend Oceanwalk!
I visited Katia last week under the pretense that she was a pedorthist. To my shock and annoyance, it was billed to my insurance as chiropractics. Her assessment involved her looking at my foot briefly, no tests to check my muscle strength or anything. Then I was diagnosed with one of the choices off a tick list, told I needed $600+ orthotics immediately and I needed to stop running.
