My 7 year old son with ADHD and Autism had his first eye exam here the other day and it was a very good experience. The doctor seemed to have experience working with kids on the spectrum and was able to adjust his various exams to keep my squirmy kid engaged and following directions. He was referred to get an eye exam at an optometrist because he scored low on the eye exam at his pediatricians but ended up having great vision. I have been a patient here for a couple years and I had made this year’s exam at the time of my appointment last year. I recieved two rounds of appointment confirmation texts, both of which I confirmed, and I also filled out my patient forms ahead of time, which confirmed all my info/insurance/etc. I was not notified at all until I arrived up for my appointment that my doctor had at some point stopped taking my insurance and I would need to pay for the exam out of pocket if I still wanted it.
