I found Safeharbor Vet Clinic had a much better understanding of tumor growth and greater concern for my pets' needs.If your dog has an issue where it needs to be seen soon (not an emergency) they will work you in if you pay a $100 xtra. They are ok with tumors ulcerating rapidly while you wait for their next appointment unless you pay the xtra $100. The vet will not discuss it with you, you have to deal with the condescending sarcasm of Nina at the front desk. My pets' needs come before their poor decisions.
Dr kelly is a caring and compassionate person. Her love of animals is displayed by her kindness and knowledge. She is hero in my eyes.
This little guy scared my husband and I by having seizures one after another- we didn’t know what to do and we both were feeling helpless- Dr Kelly answered my call and met me at the clinic ASAP, kept him over night - we were so worried about Bensons health but she and her staff did everything they could to make him better. My husband and I were getting ready to leave on our honeymoon cruise and I didn’t want to worry about the dog sitter not knowing what to do, so they kept him at the clinic while we were gone. Our puppy Ted was running a fever
we drove 2 hours to bring our cat to have his teeth pulled. not only was it half the cost, but they have a amazing staff, and my cat is doing great!
They treated me very compassionately when it was time to say goodbye to my best friend. I called the evening before and they got me in for an appointment the next day. He was given such a perfect, peaceful ending. I am so thankful and will be recommending their services to everyone! THANK YOU!
GREAT PEOPLE GREAT SERVICE
We arrived in town for the holiday weekend and soon realized we needed our lab puppy to see a vet. With no relationship with Oceanside we took our chances by dropping in without an appointment. They not only squeezed us in but she was diagnosed with puppy strangles. Next day she wasn’t responding well to medications so we went in again. She ended up staying for the night but the amazing part is that Dr Spall took her home that night to closely monitor her symptoms.
