I would like to start this by saying this is a terrible place to send a mentally ill child! I was jumped by some 17 year old girl when i was like 12. The staff just pumps them up with meds so they cant even think. A girl took a staff members glass cup and broke it then started cutting herself with it. The bathrooms and showers were distgusting, they never seemed to clean them. We had very little time to shower, we never were allowed to keep the door fully closed when we were showering. Let me just start off by saying to all the women who’s kids have depression or anger issues I know yall are trying to do what’s best for your children i myself have been to many different hospitals for different reasons depression being one of them I’ve been to ocean 3 times and let me tell yall how that was my first experience they had a girl who was aging out there they gave her special privileges a sonic meal everyday new chlothes and whenever the staff got disrespected they would give her some snacks to go beat them up m... read more
My son says the food is so bad he would rather go without
My daughter was sent here. She told me this place sucks, and I agree. If I could rate 0 I would. There is a lot of issues with this facility. They are disorganized, and none of the staff are on on the same page about anything. My daughter was only given a few minutes to take a shower on her first day in. When I asked the staff, I was told they get 15-20 minutes per kid and they were "unaware" that my daughter hadn't showered in 4 days due to not having enough time. Had went here in 2015, and they had given me medications that my parents had specifically told them not to give me.
