The Oceana Hotel is a jewel, well located across the street from the Ocean, minutes away from the Santa Monica pier, walkable to the 3rd Street promenade and if you are lucky you get to see WAYMO driverless taxes drive past you on the streets. Taxis are hard to find. It is set close to the Pacific Coast Highway, the PCH, which you can drive up to get to iconic Gladstones Restaurant where the dolphins can be seen as you dine. Atmosphere is cool, people are walking their dogs and some people playing music. Great for walks, picnics and relaxing.
We had such a wonderful stay at the Oceana Hotel! The location is perfect — centrally located to everything, which made it so easy to get around. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and very well kept, giving such a peaceful and relaxing vibe. The rooms are over the top — decorated with incredible detail and style, and everything was spotless. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here, which I really appreciated.
