The worst place to rent an apartment. I lived here for a year, and it was the worst time of my life. It's noisy; the neighbor is renovating something, something falls in the middle of the night, the neighbor drops off the laundry at 2 or 3 a.m., I have termites and cockroaches in my apartment, and it's terrible to leave all the dishes at night. This charming historical landmark—by which I mean an awful old building—comes with a complimentary 24/7 industrial vibration concert courtesy of the HVAC system outside. Apparently, 'white noise' is just a suggestion, and earplugs are merely decorative. I've tried everything short of building a soundproof bunker inside my own apartment, which, naturally, my landlord would probably charge me extra for. It's a quiet building and the tenants are generally nice. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the unpleasant staff & association, management were of the rudest people I've encountered since moving to the area. Overall a great place other than the fact that they charge for a super small gym that only has the bare minimum equipment in it.
