I have my grandfather in this facility and can tell you I have heard good and mostly bad stories and unfortunately I have to say that he has had one of the bad experiences there. I can promise you we may have to travel some but will definitely be moving my grandfather and give him some quality of care for the end of his life and NO ONE in my family if I can help it will ever have to be put there. I don't know how they are even open still.
I've heard a few terrible stories about this place but never wanted to believe them til I heard how terrible a nurse was to a beloved local man, who was a personal friend of mine, had to finish, unfortunately, his last days there. She yelled at him for not wanting to wear pants in bed because he would pee the bed(ALSO BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD HELP HIM) and even tried making him WALK when he had no strength or could even get out of bed.(end stage 4 cancer) Shame on this place. I would never put my loved on in there.
