I have not lived here. I was considering applying as they look nice. However, the property owner should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for requiring cats be declawed to live here. That’s disgusting. Please do your research and update your views or don’t allow animals at all if you hate them that much. I would never recommend anyone support anyone with such barbaric views. Do better.
I'm looking at apartments in the area and noticed on the website that cats have to be declawed. Maybe people don't understand how harmful declawing is, but it's essentially the same as cutting off every finger a person has, only the cat has a chance of spending the rest of their life in pain. This is absolutely cruel and having that as a requirement for the pet is disgusting.
The website requires any cats that live as pets here must be declawed! How inhumane and backwards thinking this management already shows themselves to be, will never gain my trust to rent from them. I’m outright appalled. How about instead, you require they own scratching posts so their cats have something vs nothing but carpet to scratch at?
