I am from Wiggins area and was transferred to Ocean Springs Singing River Hospital. I had some serious kidney issues and and a kidney stone that was too large for me to pass on it's own. From the moment I arrived everyone was so wonderful and nice . I received a friendly greeting from everyone. The quality of care was exceptional. Dr. Owens is very friendly and a wonderful surgeon, as well as his staff. After surgery he personally took me back to my room. I gave birth here a few years ago and felt that as time went on, I had no control over what was happening. They did not allow me to walk the halls/room or get in the shower due to "liability" concerns (I asked before and was told by staff that is why they have the showers) and many medical interventions were recommended or pushed under the threat that "I or my baby would die" without them. I had a diagnostic procedure done today. Tyler and Dr Fairfield were AMAZING! Tyler explained everything and was such a blessing to have in the room with me. Dr Fairfield was very gentle and explained everything step by step as he was going. Thank you both for your amazing knowledge and caring about your patients!
