Troy, the new owner of Ocean Sands Realty, was a pleasure! We rented a house called 'Pog Mo Home' for a week at Sandbridge Beach thru Airbnb. Upon arriving, we noticed some issues with cleanliness. We called the number provided & were told the cleaning company would be out within the hour. They never came so we called again. Troy answered & said he'd be right out to take care of it. Poor customer service. I booked a beach house for the summer, paid over $4000 deposit and then when I called them two weeks later to check on things (I had a bad feeling due to poor communication), was told that the owner decided to use the dates for themselves and I can no longer have the property. Horrible experience! The house was filthy! Every major appliance was broken. Beds did not have lines. Tried to work with Ocean Sand…they did not follow up or compensate for damages . Very disappointed for shy of $10,000! ***UODATE: Now Ocean Sands is calling the reviews “spam.” Stayed at Spinnaker. Talked to Michelle head of house cleaning and Jordan face to face on August 23, 2024. Not sure what the agency expected. They rented a poorly kept home that needed multiple major repairs and didn’t respond tho cleaning issues
