I give it four stars, because no one is perfect. Staff was very nice, room was clean and comfortable, beach was lovely, just across the street and a nice pool for kids and family. brought my dog and he loved the beach too. Very quiet also. Would definately return.Close to all.

This place is a Home away from Home. My first stay here and I Loved it. Away from the hussle and bussell of town and yet just a minute or two drive to the action. The Staff are very nice and the Manager is a Mountain Moma by birth and a Floridian in heart. We will deff visit again. The room was clean, and smelled like the ocean, right next door. I Love Ocean Sands and its employees.

We came through booking .com and had to pay extra for the ocean front room. We get in the room to find a big toad in the bathroom. Then we had to go to the front desk to get sosp, towels and shampoo. Breakfast is minimal. Beach towels were bleached out and had holes in them. Beach chairs that you can carry across the busy road were all broken. Attitude of desk clerk was oh that's too bad. We wound up grabbing lounge chairs from the pool and caring them across the street. Beach area has much to be desired you must walk throug... read more
We just left this beautiful little place this morning. The best part of this place is the staff. They are incredibly friendly and helpful! A nice private beach just across the road with lots of shells! Just an extremely short drive to all the must see places in St Augustine. Very good value for your money. It's not perfect, but nothing ever is:)
Very friendly (Mom & daughter) owners & staff. Helpful with local attractions & restaurants. Beach is the best I've been to with soft sand, no fish or seaweed, big waves to learn how to surf in and lots of shells! Even dolphins jumping!
Me an my husband just spent 4 night there..We came from Indiana an we will be back...we loved how close the beach was an how nice the staff was....there were a couple cleaning issues but was taken care of. I would recommend for anyone to stay here...everything there is to do is just a few miles away..we really enjoyed our time together here an we will be back..we stayed July 10 to July 14 2015

The staff here was very friendly, they gave great restaurant ree stations and local fishing spots. Our rooms were clean and had everything we needed. I loved that they had beach chairs, kids floaties and beach toys for the guests to use!

We stayed for three nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Well maintained quiet beach. Couldn't hear the ocean from our balcony due to the busy road. Very small but clean breakfast room. May try it again w/o the kids.
