Nice Place The staff was great. Great food. A little expensive but normal for the area. Seafood is fresh. Oysters were good. Fun location on Fifth. Great drinks. Would go again.
OK place near the ocean I visited this place more than once with friends when I was doing the downtown thing with company. I thought the oysters were ok. The ambiance was just ok. The prices were in line with being near the beach. I think I would pay a little more and go to one of the place right on the ocean with a view of the water.
Good restaurant Great food. A little on the pricey side. Seafood is fresh. Oysters are OK. Ambience is sublime. Fun location on Fifth. Would go again. Try Northern oysters,
Ocean Room Bar The Ocean Room Oyster Bar and Lounge had a great vibe to the whole place. We had some great drinks, the staff was really nice and the food was actually really good.
Sidewalk dining in the Gaslamp District! – Nothing better than a beautiful spring evening, good service, and decent food for a fair price. I ate here yesterday, and got just that. I started with a spicy tuna roll appetizer... a decent roll with plenty of heat for $7, and another $7 for a decent glass of white wine. nice surroundings but food was boring – sorry to say actually, but I tried their "signature" dish, recommended by the waitress, the crab broil or bake, proposed to be a new orleans specialty. extrememely disappointing. Honestly - it was like creme of tomato soup with lots of crab in it and a scoop of white steamed rice. okay - lots of crab, but flavor wise incredibly boring after the second bite.
