My husband was supposed to be seen for an appointment, and they cancelled it as of 2 months ago according to them. They left one voicemail 2 months ago and the most recent point of contact was a text which confirmed the appointment. I don’t know if it’s the office staff or the remind system but he just drove 30 minutes away for an appointment that was apparently cancelled.

I have been a patient at Ocean Pulmonary Associates, P.A. for a little over a year, and unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing. Their technology and text-based scheduling system does not work properly, which makes it very difficult to schedule or manage appointments. Because of these issues, I was unable to schedule an appointment within a specific timeframe. Even though Dr Shah gets a perfect 5 rating, the Office Staff including front desk, appointment scheduling, prescriptions rate ZERO Stars. I've never dealt with a worse office staff… Ever. I began calling at 1:05 PM to schedule an appointment. I was disconnected three times and finally at 1:55 PM. I reached someone who claimed she was at lunch. Apparently, it is impossible to reach the doctor even an emergency if you call at their lunchtime. Since I called at 1:05 I'm assuming the office staff takes an hour for lunch. That i... read more
