I met the cutiest patootie of a dog outside my climbing gym that was apparently not welcome outside this gym . Dog was a sweetums and totally well behaved. Way to impede a wonderful social custom. …if lawyers want to cite case law showing the gym would be liable if, say, a pitbull were to bite someone in a similar position, i guess that would change things. But without knowing any extenuating circumstance, lame.

I don’t like writing negative reviews but in times it’s necessary. I had a small fee for missing a class and asked if it could be waived since I wasn’t aware of the policy. The manager said no, which is fine but the way it was handled was disappointing. I didn’t have my wallet on me, just my workout gear, and even though I’m a paying member who’s never missed a class before, they refused to let me work out. I do really like this gym, but the reason I’m loving Ocean Pacific is for the classes that are offered in the newly opened space downstairs. Having the studio classes is what makes this gym worth it for me and that is what’s keeping me at OP! Love the Heroboard classes and can’t wait for the room to be heated!

The transformation of this gym since Ken took ownership has been nothing short of inspiring. It’s now hands down the best gym in Southern California. I’ve been to many gyms, and nothing compares to the consistent value OPG delivers to its members. Truly impressive work. I’ve proudly been a member for the past five years and have no plans of ever cancelling.
