I am a recently retired dentist and very familiar with how to evaluate the skill and care given by other dental providers. My wife who, unfortunately, has many medical issues which make her a high risk for any kind of surgery, was in need of oral surgery procedures. My procedure was painless, the surgeon was attentive, patient with all of the questions I had, there were some kinks with the billing but it all got sorted out. My only complaint would be lack of communication from accounting/billing. I had to do accounting/collections at a law office I worked at and if we sent two letters with no response we would attempt to contact by other methods (phone and/or email). Other than that everything was well organized, clean, and professional.

There is no email for me to contact someone at this office regarding the billing so I will post this publicly so I have record since the statement I received says that "Action by collection agency may be taken" even though they have made no other attempt to reach me. I have received no phone call or email. They sent me a statement dated 2/28/24 by mail (maybe the other notices were lost) saying that almost all of the services rendered were not covered by my insurance and a balance is due. If you want a painless tooth extraction, this is the dentist to go to. Dr Rick Berrios has been a dentist since 1987 and knows the procedure inside and out! This was my first experience having a wisdom tooth pulled and I’m 78 years old.
