I personally own a 31 Ocean Master...Boat is built like tank and can handle harsh sea conditions with unbelievable stability. I’ve ran faster but never better or with as much confidence. Once you own a custom built boat, you’ll never want to return to a production model. No doubt Mark Hauptner began a dynasty and I have full confidence Ocean Master is here to stay after speaking with Charlie Modica; Anxious to see what’s next!
Best built rig on the water.
Saying that something is built like a tank is an overused cliche. When talking about an Ocean Master, there are few other descriptions that do it justice. It is just that tough.
Incredible hull, we have owned our 1994 31' cc since 2005 and can't say enough about the boat and the Company behind it. There isn't another platform around that has the room to fish and can take a sea like this hull can. We have re-powered 3 times now and are not afraid to to make +100 mile runs to the canyons in most conditions.
We own a 31' Ocean Master and I cannot begin to tell you how great of a boat it is. After owning a pro-line, mako and contender we have finally found the boat of our dreams. The boat is a tank, heavy and well built, it slices through 3 foot seas with ease. We fish out of Freeport, Texas and it is the perfect boat to eat the Texas Gulf Coast chop up. We regularly take our 31' out over 100 nm offshore and I love it more and more every trip!
