I would not recommend booking with Ocean Lodge North. I had a reservation confirmed and payment processed on my end, but received a call from the hotel claiming my card had declined. When I asked for clarification (since my account showed it had been charged), the woman on the phone became rude and impatient, saying she had “people waiting” and threatening to cancel my booking unless I gave her my card number over the phone. Erica at the front desk was so kind us to! Check-in/Out was very easy and smooth. For the price, I cannot complain at all! Our room was clean, location was perfect, and staff were all very pleasant!
Having booked this room at a very low price compared to nearby hotels, my expectations were quite low. I expected to maybe have musty smells in the room, disinterested staff, maybe not a tub I wanted to use, but I booked it with the intention of my family sleeping there and that was it. I didn't plan on spending vacation time in the hotel, I just needed somewhere to lay our heads that didn't break the bank.
