Our experience with Ocean Eye started out okay but has gone downhill since. When my teen first went in for contacts, we were told his trial pair would be in within a week to 10 days. 2 weeks after hearing nothing, I called to check in only to find out they had not been ordered. 2 weeks after that, I called to check in again to find out they had been sitting there and no one had called to let us know or schedule a fitting. Called to scheduled my two kids for new patient appointments at the beginning of July and was scheduled for the 24th. Got a call the 22nd saying they needed to reschedule us because they double booked due to a new system. Ok sure no problem, I understand things happen. Was rescheduled for today the 31st. We get there and was told not only do they not have them on the schedule, but the Dr wasn't even in office and they didn't even have my son in their system! This place is the best! Best decision I made was to transfer to Ocean Eye. I have not met an unpleasant staff member yet! I do wish that I could remembered the name of the lady that helps with the glasses. She is top notch! Just like today, I walked in to get my glasses adjusted and she went above and beyond. I love it here!!
The nurse was so kind and patient with my son who doesn’t really sit still but needed to for his exam. She laughed with him and was silly with him. The doctor was also very kind and explained everything to me she took her time and asked if we had any other questions. Nothing was rushed and it felt very friendly but professional.
