Best whale watching tour in San Diego. Especially if you like to be close to the action. The captain is very knowledgeable and gives a great tutorial of what you see throughout the trip as well as the U.S. Navy dolphin and sea lion training facilities and nuclear submarine base.
First time ever whale watching and it was hands down best experience! Being more intimate with the ocean on the RIB definitely boosted the fun. I'm already excited for the next time !!!

I loved going whale watching with Adventure Rib Rides. The captains are out of this world friendly and knowledgeable. They knew exactly where to find the herds and the boat is super fast and not crowded. Well worth the extra money!

Absolutely fabulous experience . Worth the extra money for the small and fast boat . It's a great ride and a much more intimate experience . Great captain, great outfit . They even gave us additional times I we could watch our humpback do several dives and flukes .

Awesome experience. Up close and personal with multiple Blue Whales today. Highly recommend this adventure. Captain was very informative throughout the trip. Will return again on our next trip to San Diego.

Eight gals on a San Diego weekend getaway - four of us decided to go on a RIB ride. The other four missed out. This was a MOST excellent adventure!!!! I cannot tell you how excited we were to see these magnificent whales. The sound they make gave me the "goosies.". And to see dolphins playfully swimming around the RIB was so exhilarating, in the open ocean where they belong, not held captive in some damned tank in a marine park.
