It was fine, just not what we expected. We had a mix of seafood and non-seafood lovers and this place was recommended in a search. The shrimp tacos were good. My son ordered a steak sandwich - very small and not overly tasty. The lobster roll was fine, but nothing to write home about. The endive salad is not what we expected either. The waitress was pleasant but never really checked back once she took our order. Overall, I am not sure it was worth the price we paid for lunch.
My wife and I spent the day in PTown recently, and we remembered having a good experience at Ocean 193 the year before. We decided to try it again, but before I give my review, let me set the scene. We went last night and the first thing we saw was that amazing view. We were greeted by our server Sophia quickly. She was very nice and never made us feel rushed. The food was excellent, I had the fish and chips and my partner had the cod, both were very good. I highly recommend the burrata and the gazpacho , both are fantastic. Pros - fast seating (with reservation), good service by a relatively new and inexperienced, but very sweet young lady, vibrant atmosphere, nice outdoor seating. Cons - food, unfortunately, was not on the level with other similar establishments on Commercial St. We got the bone-in ribeye, which comes with mashed potatoes & asparagus. The steak was cooked as requested (medium) but didn't seem to be a very high quality of beef. For $79 (market price that night) I expected better.
