So I rarely take the time to write up bad reviews. In fact, this is my first. I had a horrible experience on July 13th. My cat was quite sick. I took her in an explained that I had a budget of $170. I asked if they allowed payment plans, understandably the answer was no. I asked if anything could be done for my cat until I'd have more money to pay the exorbitant amount that they charge for services. Something like pain management, in the interim. Hello, it saddens me to write this review as I have taken my dogs to this animal hospital for years. Yesterday, my dog, was scheduled for two mass removals (cancer). I spoke to Nicole on Saturday who confirmed my visit and advised me on what to expect for Monday. Unfortunately, nothing went as planned. As a pet owner, you can imagine the emotions that my family and I have gone through with this news and the anticipation leading up to the surgery. Dr Morse,Lola is missing you terrible. Thank you for all your love you have given them. Even when they misbehaved. I would have driven 3 hours for their visits with you. Again thank you so much!
I have been taking my three dogs to Dr. Morse for the last 11 years. He is wonderful with them and always listens to my concerns. Unlike many vets his recommendations are always honest and he never tries to oversell. In fact on several occasions he has offered cheaper alternatives. The staff is always friendly and even sent me the sweetest card when one of my dogs passed away unexpectedly. Highly recommended.
Highly Recommend! Undoubtedly,The BEST Animal Hospital in Virginia. We have been taking our bulldogs and clumber spaniels to Dr. Morse more years than we can remember now. It is an hour drive but worth every minute. It would be very difficult to find a more caring and loving staff and vets (ESPECIALLY DR. Morse). So many good memories to look back on.
