While vacationing in Hatteras this October, we decided to drive to Kitty Hawk and Manteo for the day. On the way, the alternator on our beloved 2007 Honda Element failed. We just made it into Kill Devil Hills and thankful found a parts shop who referred us to Jeff. I placed a quick call, and 15 minutes later Jeff arrived and installed the newly purchased alternator at a reasonable price, and without the surliness of the other mechanics we had visited along the strip. Had an auto emergency while on the last day of vacation, hose melted, leaking coolant everywhere, limped into auto-zone late on a Saturday hoping against hope to find somebody who could help or at least point us in the right direction and had the good luck to run into Jeff checking out at the register. I’d like to give a shout out to Jeff. I was in the Outer Banks on vacation from Ohio. While driving through the mountains, I realized my brake rotors were probably bad due to the shaking of the steering wheel while on the steep descents. I was in town on vacation when my car started having electrical issues. Jeff treated me with the most respect and worked hard to diagnosed the problem. He clearly wasn’t trying to make money of me by selling me on unnecessary parts rather he was genuinely trying to assist me. I highly recommend using this shop.
