If it’s not one thing it’s another unfortunately
This rating was hard to pick. They’re very difficult to get a hold of, the front desk makes you sign in with personal information and doesn’t even look at it — when I left my appointment my information was still in clear view and two others had signed in, so no care to protect privacy was made and this has been true for my multiple visits. Erin Huntley, DO and the whole Sonographer team at Obstetrix of Colorado, part of Pediatrix Medical Group | Avista were fantastic. We completed our high risk ultrasound with their team and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dr., Huntley was wonderful to work with. She answered all of our questions thoroughly and provided both realistic and scientific details. It truly felt like the team cared about my well being and the well being of the baby. Our team of doctors and ultrasound tech were very helpful and kind.
I would give 0 stars if possible. This office told me they were supposed to have done a pre-authorization with my insurance company to ensure my ultrasounds were covered. They did not do that. In addition, due to their untimely billing, I didn’t receive the first bill until after the second ultrasound occurred and now I’m left with $1,700 in surprise billings. After discussion with them, they refused to take any accountability for their part.
