Their patient-to-doctor ratio is far too high, making scheduling nearly impossible. You’ll end up going without care simply because they don’t have the capacity to see you. Routine appointments aren’t scheduled until 12 weeks — nearly the second trimester — meaning you’ll likely know your baby’s gender from genetic testing (10 weeks) before you’ve even seen your doctor or had an ultrasound, even if you’re considered high-risk.
Called to make a new patient/preconception appointment because of a previous high-risk pregnancy. This clinic won’t even let me make an appointment with an OB to establish care because I’m not pregnant and their MFM office will not call me back to schedule said preconception appointment. I called the MFM clinic twice and the RN wrote me off because I’m not currently pregnant. Seems like a lot of gatekeeping for basic care. Was forced to go to another hospital system.
