Aszur did an amazing job on my hair! Like another reviewer said, she’s incredibly thorough, not to mention talented. My hair is thinning and she’s the only stylist I’ve seen (and I’ve seen many) that has taken this into account when cutting my hair. She gave me the best and most beautiful haircut for my thin hair! She has a sharp eye and knows exactly how to give you or get you to your desired result. I registered for a partial highlight and hair cut. She didn't have foils to complete my highlight. She cut my hair so short it looked like a "bob cut". I've never had my hair cut so poorly.

I just moved to Lafayette from New Jersey and I found Obsidian Hair Studio on a google search. I must say.. not only was Aszur thorough with her consultation, but she delivered nothing but excellence on this head of mine! My highlights are absolutely beautiful and my cut is just what I was looking for! I was reluctant trying a new stylist as I was with my previous for over 10 years, but I am so glad I gave her a try. Aszur was super fantastic. She worked with my schedule, and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. I had a bad balayage experience and most places wanted to charge me the $250+ color correction fix prices and Aszur came up with a better way (for my wallet and my hair health) to fix my hair. It looks great! She also did a great job at asking me what I wanted and talking through the decisions with me. :)
