The corn on the cob is the best! # Taste of Chicago
My wife and I stop in once a year, mainly for the crusted ribeye steak! When my steak came it was not crusted( the reason I don't mind paying $46 for a steak ) I told the waitress that it wasn't crusted, she said "well I put the order in that way!" That was it, no mention of could I fix it. We ordered another round of drinks half way through the meal, by the time we received them (20 minutes later) we were already done with our meal. The food is top notch and the owner's are very kind. The atmosphere is very kind and it's one of the best places to go enjoy a beautiful day in Chicago.
This neighborhood restaurant has a lot to recommend. The burgers are among the best in the city, and some dishes are quite special, like the outstanding cabbage soup. The wine list is well chosen. We haven't had room for dessert but hear from a reliable waiter that the bread pudding is worth a visit!
