I have used Obar in the past and the service was awesome and reasonable. My mom called for them to come out and apparently they were bought out about a month ago so new owners. They now go by Silco Fire & Security. Took a few days to get someone out and honestly kinda pricey for something that took less than 10mins. No parts replaced, the tech simply put the spring back on that had popped off and greased the rollers. Guess its time to find a new company.
I have never left a review of a business before. However, the service at this company is so unbelievably terrible, I felt it was necessary. It has been a month since I first contacted Obar to fix the gate on my property. Each time I call, they "guarantee" someone will be out "that day or the next" to fix my gate. Yet, each time, nobody comes. The only reason I keep trying to get them to come out is because the service is already paid for! Made several calls before getting someone out to look at my situation. Then several calls asking if they have an estimate yet. Still nothing. They don't return calls.
