A Wonderful First Experience I recently attended my first silent retreat for a weekend, and it was a truly peaceful and refreshing experience. The location was lovely, providing a calm and serene environment. I appreciated the clear and well-structured schedule, including meditation and yoga sessions, as well as the kitchen duties that allowed everyone to participate. I really enjoyed the retreat. It gave me a chance to learn from Ginger in a different way and truly disconnect. I enjoyed meeting everyone and being able to share space together, plus the flow of each day allowed for breaks and time to yourself, which I needed. Being new to the practice I wasn't sure what to expect but Ginger took time to explain each part and made me feel safe in the space. And, the food was great, I really enjoyed Saturday's lunch and dinner.
