I had a very disappointing and stressful experience during my pregnancy. There were several issues throughout my care, including lost test results, requisitions not being sent to LifeLabs as promised, and important tests being ordered later than they should have been. There was also a lack of follow-up on test results, and I was never asked about any symptoms. Loved the fact she got me into a specialist when I had an issue. But, Getting tests results has always been an issue and I had to tell her there was an issue before she even looked at my results. Unfortunately, my family and I have been in search for someone else because her attendance to her patients is not adequate for a doctor so much so that the pharmacists know her as a doctor who is always away.
Was a patient there for a couple of years, and ended up having the worst experience. When I was pregnant with my first baby, I had to wait 3 weeks for a PHONE appointment, not even in person, just for her to tell me that she wouldn’t be able to provide care because of her tight schedule, and that I’d have to find a midwife, and didn’t give me an option to be referred to an OB. Laura-Dawn spends time to listen to patients and investigate the problems. That’s what I value the most as a patient. Sylvia at the front desk is always helpful and pleasant. All together, it’s healing.
