Review for Oasis Escrow, Inc. Oasis Escrow mishandled a 1031 Exchange transaction for me, despite knowing from the outset that it was intended as a 1031. I had even asked them for a referral to a qualified intermediary. They failed to flag any issues or provide basic guidance, which ultimately caused me to lose a significant tax benefit. Completely incompetent staff mailed my insurance payment to my next door neighbor NOT the insurance company and subsequently I had my home insurance cancelled and it took 2 weeks of dealing with stupid people to understand they still have my money. Almost cartoonish.
If I could give this escrow office zero star, I would. They are unorganized, unhelpful and don’t do what they are supposed to. They made a mistake on purchase price on the estimate. We asked them to correct and they said we were wrong. You would think we know what we agreed to pay for the house. Next all documents sent to us without any explanation or checked for missing or accuracy.
