Acryic nails are gone – We made a mistake, allowing a former nail tech, who performs acrylic nails, to use our nail salon for two weeks during her transition to a new location. Oasis only performs natural nails and had forgotten how strong the acrylic smell could be. After two days we had to ask her to stop performing the acrylic nails due to the strong smells. Oasis stopped performing this service eight years ago. We are back to normal our normal aromatherapy candles and oils.

If you can stand the smell – I walked in and wanted to leave, if I hadn't secured my appointment I would have left. The smell was horrendous! I think someone was having their hair relaxed or something and then the nail polish smell....I thought once I got in the room it would improve but the candle and the scented oil put me through the roof. I will never return, I had a headache for two days!

Very Relaxing – I'm new to the city, went in for a facial and had a decent experience. Some spas are in loud parts of town, this is in alone in a building and allows for a very relaxing experience. The downfall was that I got the facial which included a neck and arms massage. I did not receive this part of the service. It was a great facial, but probably could have been a little less expensive, considering I didn't receive part of the service.

Not an Oasis – During an appointment for a pedicure I was given a message chair that was out of service. When I inquired, the attendant said the chair had not worked properly for some time and several requests had been made for repair, however, the chair remained out of service for appointments. I was asked to complete a comment card to bring this again to the owner's attention. Even with this, the attendant had a sinus reaction and kept leaving the room to manage her allergies. Excellent Service – My niece was visiting Charlotte for her spring break and I wanted to treat her to a day at the spa. The package that I purchased for her was the “Queen for the day”, and after she had completed her time she said the staff made her feel like a queen. I also had 3 treatments, and all were excellent. All of the staff went above and beyond, from the staff that greeted us when we arrived to the staff that performed the services. Oasis is always Great – I've visited Oasis several times and I'm never disappointed. Oasis will always be at the top of my list to visit. I'm always pleased with their customer service. I'm never let down in any way.

Terrible gift card policy – Unfortunately I can't speak to the actual services that Oasis provides because while I received a $150 gift card for Christmas, I didn't look at the back of it until it was 2 months past the expiration date. I called to see if they would be lenient on the date and they said no. It is certainly my fault for not checking to see if there was an expiration date when I got it, but they also need to have some more leniency in their policy. Never disappointed – I have been to this spa several times for a variety of services from massage to facial to pedicure. I have never been disappointed with the service I received. Everyone tries very hard to make sure you are in a comfortable and relaxed state the entire time. I will be going back for future services.

Oasis is great – I had a great time at Oasis I would recommend it to anyone. I can't wait to visit again. I had a hot stone massage that was out of this world. The front desk staff helped me to pick out my services. I have never been to a spa like Oasis and I will be going back very soon.
