I rafted the Middle Fork of the Salmon River with OARS and a group of lifelong friends. It was a trip that can only be described as epic! The guides are unparalleled in their knowledge of the river, teaching ability (it was my first time fly fishing), and talent for putting a mouthwatering meal on the table three times a day. If you know how good a vacation is by the sadness you feel when it's over, let's just say I was practically in tears. Do not miss the opportunity to raft with OARS if you ever get it.
Another great trip with OARS. Our group did the 3 day Snake River through Hells Canyon trip. We have done several trips with OARS and always have a great time. The guides are always fantastic whether they are guiding the boats down the river, cooking food, or just hanging out. Thanks to our guides Caroline, Caden, Nolan, and Slone for a great trip!!!
What a great fishing trip with the Oars crew down the middle fork of the Salmon. Despite not being an avid fisherman I caught lots of fish and had a great time. The guides were awesome from helping with fishing to prepping food and guiding us down the tricky waters of the middle fork.
Trip was fantastic. Exciting and peaceful every day. The guide team could not have done a better job with handling the boats in the whitewater, identifying wildlife and geological aspects of the canyon, and cooking amazing, healthy meals! Their hard work and a stunning river canyon made the trip truly amazing. Highly recommend it and the OARS team as your guides.
2nd time taking an OARs rafting trip, and it was fantastic just like the 1st. This was a 5 day trip down the Snake River. As usual everything was well organized; the guides were very professional and super knowledgeable; and the food was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about OARs - highly recommended.
