Such a great off-the-grid getaway in so many ways!!! - true river guide experts… Kerry, Ben, Kelly, Tom - safety always a priority - location unbelievable - we got lucky with weather. - such fun wonderful people - a true river family. - food amazing! I am very thankful to OARS guides for supporting such a wonderful trip in rafting, nourishment, laughter and unforgettable memories.

I have done 5 trips with OARS now and they have all been superb! The guides are always very skilled, professional and friendly. The equipment is top of the line, very comfortable and well-maintained camping gear. Not having to make meals or clean up is a real luxury, and the food is always very tasty. I would recommend any trip with OARS, I have always felt very safe and well-cared for.
This was our first OARS trip, accompanying our nephew and his 9 year old son in their 3rd OARS trip. We went on the Main Salmon river 6 day trip. There were 23 guests and 7 guides. I loved the variety of boats on the trip- inflatable kayaks(duckies), paddle boat - with 6 guests paddling with guide, Oars boats with only the guides paddling, and 2 guide paddled Dories, a hard v birth We were able to ride all types over the trip. Just Wow!! I just came off the OARS Main Salmon Mindfullness trip and it was amazing. Our team of 5 guides were super organized, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. They gifted our group with talks about the surrounding forest, geology, water shed and water management issues. We had a mix of boats including a paddle raft, a dory and two inflatable kayaks and our group had a lot of fun trying them all out. We felt encouraged to try new things while being super safe.
