My husband gifted me this trip for my birthday (in January) and it was so worth the wait. The guides were excellent - patient knowledgable and experienced - and FUN! The white water was big enough to stretch my very sparse experience, the perfect level of two's and three's. Definitely pushed my limits, gave me a thrill and a sense of accomplishment. This all-women’s rowing clinic exceeded my expectations. The instructors were incredibly patient and knowledgeable, and worked hard to keep everyone comfortable even when the weather didn’t cooperate. They were prepared for everything, no matter what came up. As someone with special dietary requirements, I never once felt like a burden. The whole team was thoughtful and made sure I felt genuinely well cared for throughout the trip. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a supportive, well-run rowing experience.

Very nice trip and all I expected. The guides, Jamie, Caroline, Kelley, Helen and Andrew, really knew their stuff. They were very professional and at the same time personable, friendly, accommodating and informative. The trip was well organized and things went along like clockwork. I wish the rapids had been a little closer together,, otherwise I had a blast.

Wish I could give a hundred stars to OARS. Their welcoming and professional guides gave my son and I the adventure of a lifetime. Interacting with their office staff was also excellent. I'm already dreaming about our next river adventure with them. Thank you OARS - we will be back!

I did the Lower Salmon River 5-Day trip with Oars and had an amazing time. The guides were all fantastic and did a great job of keeping us safe and well-fed. The food was easily the best I've eaten on a camping trip, and I felt super spoiled with how well I was eating out there. There was also always more than enough food to go around. The river was beatiful, the rapids were lots of fun, and the beaches we camped on were fantastic. Highly recommend using Oars for your river trip!
