Great home town service Been going there for years. Excellent, friendly service. One thing that I like is that they've had a lot of the guys the entire time I've been going. Every special cleaning request I've had was taken care of. One experience that impressed me was when they removed some paint from my bumper that came from my garage wall, they removed it and refused to charge me for it. I tipped an extra $5. Disappointing results For $20 I expected a squeaky-clean car. What I got was less than that. I had to ask them to re-vacuum the interior because a lot of dust and dirt was still visible. My interior door panels still had some dirt spots that I easily wiped off with a wet cloth. The exterior looked good, but not great. Other car washes I've been to make everything squeaky clean (and usually for less money).
Disappointed too... I used to use the Oakwood Car Wash regularly, but the last few times I went I got the same results as "Mike". I felt pressured to get more than I needed, and felt that since I "settled" for the "lesser" wash, that my car didn't get the attention it "could" have been given. Even paying almost $20, as I drove into the sunlight I noticed that I was going to have to go home and wash my windows as they were streaked and appeared to have been wiped down with a dirty/greasy rag, or with the same rag that was use... read more
Oakwood Car Wash I think they do a sub average job of washing the car. They didnt do a very good job of vacuuming the inside of the car, i had to grab a towel and finish removing dirt from the front of my truck and then when i opened the rear hatch they hadent even cleaned it. It turns out they charge and additional fee to vacuum trunks/rear areas of cars....complete rip off. On the plus side they are very friendly.
Mike H I had heard good things about oakwood car wash so I gave it a try two weeks ago on a Saturday morning. After being pressured to buy a hand wax job for 30 dollars, I declined and went with the 'Works" for about $17.95 What I got was worked over. The vacuuming lasted two minutes and left dust and dirt on the seats. They did not even open the rear of my Isuzu Rodeo to vacuum out the cargo area. My favorite car wash. They provide an excellent car washing service. The employees work fast and are friendly. I had them detail a used car that I purchased and it looked like new when they were done.
Great Service During the summer months when you want to get your car looking great, take it to the Oakwood Car Wash. The price is high, but the amount of work they put into cleaning and detailing your car is worth it. They have a few options in terms of what you want done to the car and the service is almost always the best in the region. Highly recommended!
