i cant believe they messed up this place so much i used to love being here... now I don't even want my friends to visit and i hate dealing with this new ownership...if I could give 0 stars I would. what a complete mess up i cant imagine anyone being ok with how our tenancy is going...
Can you explain why reviews from actual residents that live here are being removed? I do live here look at my photo below. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Ever since the new management took over, everything has gone downhill. The rat and roach problem has gotten worse, even though they say pest control comes twice a month. I was lucky to sign a lease at Pasadena Gateway Villas four years ago, when the rents and other charges were well-below those of nearby “full-service” apartment communities. It became evident a few years later that PGV was being readied for a sale. The new owners took over in March 2025, and have ambitious plans to improve the property. Today I rate it 5-stars, based on interactions with leasing and maintenance staff. Hopefully I’ll be able to rate it 5-star a year from now.
Prospective Residents – Stay away! Update: Any 5 star review you see written in the last 3 months was written by the company!!! Do not believe them. I feel compelled to share an honest account of the significant decline in living conditions and management quality following the takeover by Hines.
