I have been associated with oakwood academy schools for many years now. They work hard to keep a strong curriculum that pushes kids to do their best. They teach Spanish and have bible class monthly. The summer programs also offer field trips and splash days which are always exciting for the little ones. Some of my favorite things are the healthy food options they offer for kids, the low children to staff ratio, and the long business hours 6am-6pm. I just started my child at Oak wood Preschool in the last few weeks, which is right down the street from Oak wood Academy. So far I am very impressed. On the first visit to both Oak wood Academy and Oak wood Academy Preschool I was impressed by the work the students were doing, and how well behaved they were. So far so good

My daughter is a 2 1/2 yrs old and started about 3 months ago. I was very skeptical about putting her into preschool so young and especially because she wasn't potty trained yet and they said she had to be. Potty training has been great and she's almost finished and fully potty trained. She loves getting up and going to school every morning and her communication skills have flourished. My daughter has been at this facility for years! She loves it and I love the education that she's getting as well as the extracurricular activities that they provide from dance to karate, swimming to cooking. And its only $10 a week extra! The facility is clean and full of learning for the kids. I would recommend it to anyone. And looking at the facility you would think it was more expensive than it is!!

Both of my children attended Oakwood Academy from KG-6th grade. It was a great experience. Their teacher's were very caring and the entire staff was very helpful. The academics were above average and they were able to go on several field trips each year. The summer program was great. The hours are very accommodating for working parents. My children were well prepared to move on to middle school once they graduated.

i.e., A local favoWhat a great value! In these tough times, I've debated whether or not to take my child out of Oakwood Academy to save money. After researching public schools and after school programs, this is the best way to go! My child loves going to school, the teachers are personable, they are open from 6 to 6 and they even have extra curricular lessons. What a packed day! All for about 150 a week, give or take. I wish I had more friends to tell....

Luckily, every parent has their own opinion. I have had nothing but FANTASTIC experiences with Oakwood Academy! The staff is caring and knowledgeable, the curriculum surpasses most public schools and my child's test scores can prove that! I do have one issue; lack of parking! Visit the school and you will see that they have alot to offer.
