My son has been in the Oakwood schools since he was three and we're very delighted with his academic progress, he is now five and is reading and writing and has also been taking piano ever since.. we really love this school and would highly recommend it. The only suggestion we would like to make is to improve the infrastructure of the building, it is outdated and too small, the classrooms are too cramped together; the children don't have too much individual or small group space to work inside the classroom, it would be nice ... read more
Strong academic programs. Excellent support system from teachers and staff.
I just started my child at Oak wood Preschool in the last few weeks. So far I am very impressed. On the first visit to both Oakwood Academy, and Oakwood Academy Preschool I was impressed by the work the students were doing and how well behaved they were. So far so good. I will post another review after a few months.
The staff, faculty, curriculum, culture, and cleanliness of Oakwood Academy is superb and unfortunately not available at local public schools. As a school teacher who has searched around for quality pre-school and kindergarten facilities, I am extremely confident and satisfied with the educational and cultural experiences that my two children are receiving.
When selecting a preschool that was right for us it was important that we found a school that we felt could enhance our sons social skills and fundamental learning and we found just that at Oak wood. They have a fun curriculum that engages the children while learning. My son is excited to go to school every morning ,he looks forward to playing with his friends, and he shares all the fun things that he learned at school each day. Oak wood has been a great choice for our family, we love it!
LOVE THIS PRESCHOOL!!!! My husband and I are very particular, like most parents, about our sons education and ability to feel comfortable in a new environment. Oak wood was so good about making our transition into a new school seamless. They have a wonderful staff of caring, understanding, well-trained, and trusting teachers.

My son has been going to this school since kindergarten and I have nothing but great things to say! All of his teachers have been amazing, the administrator is firm but fair and highly organized. The students are provided well balanced and home cooked meals, that are of a much higher quality than what you find in public schools. They have a variety of toys and activities that you just don't find on the public system. My son is extremely happy there and at the top of his class!
