The water and electricity charges are unbelievably high, and it is not clear how these costs are calculated or managed. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. My son was genuinely frustrated and uncomfortable during his stay because of the unusually high charges for water, electricity, and trash. decent place to live. spacious, good location, clean, responsive (but not always effective) maintenance exorbitant utility fees for trash, sewer, gas, water, electric, everything several hundred per month, significantly more than anywhere I've lived wouldn't live here again due to such heinous utilities. total cost of $1,150 monthly rent + nearly $300 monthly in utilities. something something weird answer from management about electricity/other utilities not being metered per unit but rather per building? complex? and divide... read more
It's been a month without the A/C working. This also happened last summer. They first gave us a portable a/c after a few days but they took it. I bought my own from costco for a few hundred dollars to keep my room barely decent to actually be able to fall asleep. It is now 88F... today's temperature is 103. For paying 1k+ month, I shouldn't have to wait a month to get the A/C fixed.
Roaches everywhere, and the landlord doesn't do anything about it.
They don't return deposit despite promising the return. It has been 6 months with multiple in-person visits back to their manager, who insisted they will follow up with the check within weeks but no follow-up replies via email. Considering filing a lawsuit.
