It's been a month without the A/C working. This also happened last summer. They first gave us a portable a/c after a few days but they took it. I bought my own from costco for a few hundred dollars to keep my room barely decent to actually be able to fall asleep. It is now 88F... today's temperature is 103. For paying 1k+ month, I shouldn't have to wait a month to get the A/C fixed.
Roaches everywhere, and the landlord doesn't do anything about it.
They don't return deposit despite promising the return. It has been 6 months with multiple in-person visits back to their manager, who insisted they will follow up with the check within weeks but no follow-up replies via email. Considering filing a lawsuit.
The AC in my apartment has been broken over and over again for more than two years, and it has never been fixed properly. Even when set to 68°F, the temperature stays around 78–80°F. Maintenance only gives temporary “fixes,” and the problem comes back immediately. The leasing office and emergency line provide no real solutions, only delays and excuses.
