Working with Dr. Furness and a few times with Dr. James has been seamless and overall a great experience. Both doctors are attentive and have shown genuine care in my treatment. I feel listened to and have never felt rushed. They both took the time to explain and answer my concerns and supported me through treatment. The front office ladies have always been patient and helpful to work with and I definitely recommend family and friends.
My PCP is Dr Stoddard and she’s Amazing haven’t had issues with the her. On the other hand office ladies aren’t very polite, and quick to wanna hang up the phone. My BIGGEST complaint though is the Medical Assistant Jamie. She won’t let you talk, has poor phone manners, makes it sound like it’s all the patients fault, really enjoys throwing around “we’ve been trying to do this for months” when that’s untrue, and she makes it seem like her jobs tasks that she does for you are your fault. Everyone is so friendly and professional. I'm very impressed with Dr Buffington and his staff. Mary at the front desk went above and beyond for me on my last visit. I highly reccomend them.
Dr Brandon Buffington is an awful provider who will make you feel like a drug addict for coming in to get a REFILL on my anxiety medication that I have had for years. He made me feel small, stupid, and reminded me why I never go to doctors and why I always dread it. I don’t go to the doctor to be talked down to like I am 5 years. He is rude, fake, and doesn’t care for his patients. I only saw him because the provider I normally see was booked out. I cried the entire drive home because he was that rude.
I am so grateful to be a patient of Dr. Furness. He is a wonderful primary care doctor. He takes time to listen and clearly cares about his patients. I also have to say how wonderful the staff is as well, they are a tremendous asset to the doctors! Mary and Christina are both absolutely amazing, patients are not just a number at this office, they go out of their way to personally care.
